Something different, every season.
PLAYDAY runs special events all year — from Halloween parties to weekend pop ups to neighborhood open studios. Each location has its own calendar, tied to the rhythms of its community.
The kinds of events we run
Holiday celebrations
Halloween parties, Valentine's workshops, Mother's Day studios, winter holiday pop-ups — themed events tied to the calendar.
Weekend pop ups
Drop-in weekend happenings at the studio: seasonal make-and-take projects, mini workshops, and surprise themes announced through the schedule.
Community nights
Family open houses, neighborhood meet-and-greets, and parent-and-kid art nights that turn the studio into a small gathering.
Seasonal camps & intensives
Short-run camps around school breaks — think spring break printmaking or a winter animation week — distinct from our full summer program.
Charity collabs
Partnered events supporting community organizations, where art-making raises awareness or funds for a cause kids care about.
Birthday party showcases
Occasional open-studio birthday events where families can drop in for a shorter, lower-commitment celebration.

How to hear about what's next
The best way is through your PLAYDAY account — events appear in the studio schedule as they're announced.
We also send an email roundup at the start of each month with a heads-up on anything unusual happening at your neighborhood studio.
